Jumping to other Analysis workbook using RRI
Dear Experts,
Is possible to jump from current analysis workbook to another one through RRI functionality? I have a table in one AW and would like to jump into one with graph. Is it similar like RRI is working in Bex Web Templates. You can jump from table to another webtemplate with graph.
If it is not possible, ideas for workarounds are very welcome.
I was able to setup standard jumping between bex queries in bw transaction RSBBS and was able to jum to another query from Analysis workbook, but result is always a table, I would need to get graph. If is possible to jump to another Analysis workbook that would be the best.
I am running on Analysis 1.4 sp 4 and datasource is BW 7.01 sp 12. BOBJ 4.0

Unable to logon to Office Analysis - WEB SERVICE URL Error

I am trying to log on to Office Analysis. I see the below error/warning and could not log on. This was working fine until recently.

Planning - Copy/Paste functionality
Hi
In the BEX analyzer planning you had the option to copy/paste content into the sheet, however in Business Analyzer it seems that this functionality have disappeared.
In Analysis we can set There's an option to set Number of new lines to 1000 as default. Is there any plans not to predefine how many numbers of new lines a user can insert but have the same functionality as in the BEX.

Analysis Office 1.4 Scheduling Addin for BI Platform - Unix version?
Hi everyone,
We wanted to try the scheduling addin for Analysis Office on the BI Platform and I was looking to download the required addin as mentioned here:
AO Precalculation and Scheduling available in SMP (15th Nov 2013)
However, it seems that download is only for a BI Platform Server von Windows, I also looked around in the Service Marketplace, but do not seem to be able to find a version for BI Platform Servers on Unix, more specifically Linux, as we are using a Linux server here.
Did I simply miss something or are the versions of the addin for other operating systems not done yet? Anybody an idea when we can expect them?

AO: Field "Last Data Update" - in which time zone it is displayed?
Hi AO fans :-)
I have a question related to Field "Last Data Update" in AO. I'm using BEx query in AO. My load into the BW cube took a place in EU time zone.
My user is in US time zone. Once he runs the report in AO. In which time zone field "Last Data Update" will display the time of the load?

Migrating BEx Reports from BEx Analyser to Analysis Office
Hi,
We are migrating a couple of BEx Reports from BEx Analyser to Analysis Office.
Problem is the Size Limit issue.
With default size limit in Analysis Office, we get Error: "Maximum Size limit Exceeded".
To overcome this, when I increase the Result Set Size limit, we get Error: "System Out of Memory".
Both being Excel based tool and working on .Net framework, while the BEx Analyzer is capable of working with large result-set, we are not able to achieve the same with Analysis Office.
Any help is appreciated.

Variants are disabled
Hello,
We are in analysis of excel 1.4, and created workbooks with 'Merge variable' checked and we saved the query in SAP BI platform. Now my question is why we cannot create a variant in this case(the option is greyed out with message to create the variant after saving the workbook in Netweaver platform).
I know if we save the workbook in Netweaver the system allows to create the variant or if i uncheck my merge variable then also the system allows to create a variable.

Publish AAO worbooks to Portal w/o creating dedicated iViews per document?
Dear all,
we are looking for a possibility to publish analysis office workbooks to the Enterprise Portal without creating for each workbook a dedicated iView.
In the past the users used the Bex Browser to access all reports in BW, but launching AAO (and SAP Gui 7.30) we do not have such possibility anymore. A workaround would be to go via the BI platform and a launchpad integration, but we want to use plain BW repository storage for all AAO workbooks in order to be independent on the BI platform.
Any suggestions?

Analysis for Office: change system connection in workbook
Hi,
We are on SAP BO 4.0 SP04 and Analysis for Office 1.3.
Before in Bex Analyzer, we could open an workbook and connect and disconnect to our dev system and connect and disconnect to our production system using the same workbook (when the same query is available in the both systems).
How is this functionality possible in Analysis for Office? It seems once i have created a workbook on a query in our dev system, i can not disconnect and connect this workbook to the query in the prod system ?

Issue with AO Workbook on Win 7
Hi All,
We have created workbook using AO 1.4.2.2625 on windows XP client system. Work book is saved to BI Platform (BO 4.0).
Workbook is saved with setting as below:
When we open this work book on windows XP client, it works fine. User get prompt to select the variables and report get executed.
When we try to access the workbook from Windows 7 Client system, using same user ID, we get below error.
even when workbook is created on Windows 7 and we try to open it, we get same error.
also we tested this with new AO client 1.4 SP04. we get same error.

Daily report on Analysis-automatic selection of previous day's date.
Hi Experts,
I have a requirement of creating a daily sales report where only the previous day sales shows up in the report, i can bring the Calender Day field and restrict it by yesterday's date everyday but really looking to automate this process of yesterday's date selection by Office Analysis itself.
Can someone please help me achieve this functionality .

Analysis for Office - Prompt twice for parameters dialog box
Hi,
We are implementing Analysis for Office V1.4 launching workbooks off the BI Launch pad (BI 4.0 SP6.3) via OLAP connection to BW. When running the workbooks directly from Excel with the Analysis Ribbon, everything seems to work ok but when launching via the BI Launchpad the report parameter prompt appears first, the user fills it in and the report refreshes however the user is prompted a second time with the same parameters. If they hit cancel the second time the workbook loses its connection to the datasource. The workbook is a simple single sheet, single datasource.
Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Create Slide Option is disabled with Water Fall Chart.
Hello,
We are using SAP Analysis edition for MS Office 1.4. We have created few analysis on top of a bex queries. MS Office version is Home & Office 2010.
When I create a waterfall chart out of a cross tab; the option to create a powerpoint slide is disabled. It works for any other type of chart but waterfall chart.
I have observed that the waterfall chart is missing from Analysis for Microsoft Powerpoint. Is it a known limitation or bug in this product. If so, what could be the alternatives to this as we have to develop quite a few live presentations which consists waterfall charts as well.

Skip button on Logon dialog box of Analysis office is missing
when trying to insert data source on Analysis Office, I could not see the 'Skip' button on the Logon pad "Logon to SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform" and also there is an error on Web Service URL 'Error while checking availability of SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform system".
Can someone please suggest how to fix the above so I can proceed with inserting the data source at the earliest?

Error Connection Analysis for MS

I'm trying to connect to a View stored in BI Launch Pad from Analysis for MS, but I get the following error:
Error in deserializing body of reply message for operation 'Get'.There is an error in XML document (12382, 90).:
Get exception (Error: WBP 99999).

Analysis report without a measure.
Hello Experts,
Can we built a report in analysis without any measure value?? Each time i try to drag all the measures out of the ROW space, it brings back all the measures availiable in the BEx query .
At the moment i'm only able to hide the measures column in the report, is there a better way to accomplish this ?
