User seeing different number formatting in BOA workbook

Dear SCN community,

we are currently rolling out our SAP IP solution globally via BusinessObjects Analysis for Excel workbooks. In this regards, our users are connecting to virtual desktops to use the BOA application. Usually it works perfectly fine for everybody, but we most recently faced the issue of users seeing different number formatting than the majority of other users (planners, developers, support). We thought it might be connected to different Excel settings, as the query and workbook settings were of course set for all users in the same way.

Unfortunately we were not yet able to find a resolution of this issue. Perhaps you faced the same issue once and can somehow help us. Here are our findings so far:

The first screenshot shows how it is supposed to look like:

The second screenshot displays the general Excel stettings of remote desktops:

We have found a first deviation in these settings, but although aligning these settings, did not help. Here is the user settings before alignment (after it did not help, he changed it back to these settings):

Although aligning the settings, the user was only able to see the figures in different formatting, when opening the exact same workbook from SAP Netweaver platform.

You can clearly see that the separators are different and especially percentage figures are super confusing. Has anyone of you faced something similar yet?

In addition, to these inputs I want to highlight that the user's Windows settings are set on UK, whereas all others had DE or ES or IT:

Can this make a difference? The user did not want to change it yet and also fears that all his already built reporting might suffer, when changing the settings or separators.

Thanks in advance
