Dear all,
we are experiencing major performance issues (1-2 minutes difference) when executing a query in Analysis for Office (without BO server) in comparison to the computing time of the same query using the "old" BEx Analyzer. Within the query, we are calculating an include variable for the selection of a specific data set from the result.
When using an exclude variable, we are already found out, that importing SAP Note 2035090 - http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2035090 results in a comparable, good performance in both tools - as described in the SAP note. But unfortunately, we are forced to use an include variable due to specific requirements for the underlying data set.
Through debugging, we also identified a multiple query pass-through while using Analysis for Office.
The problem occurs based on the following system landscape:
- SAP BW 7.01 (SAP NW BW 7.0 EHP 1)
- SAP BO Analysis, edition for MS Office ver. 1.4.7. (latest version)
- SAP BEx Analyzer BI AddOn 7.X (based on 7.30) SP7, Patch 1 (also quite new)
Thank you very much for your help. We really appreciate.
Regards,
Dirk
